Product Overview SilverStone’s Sugo series, since its introduction in 2005, has been the de facto standard for which retail small form factor cases are defined. The introduction of SG12 is both a tribute and advancement to one of the most revered case designs within SilverStone product portfolio, the Sugo SG01. With classic shoebox proportion maintained, the SG12 continues to impress with its ability to accommodate many standard sized components such as ATX power supply and room for graphics cards up to 14.5 inches. For cooling, side intake fan size has been upgraded to 120mm from 80mm to help cope with future hardware demands. For storage, redesigned internal layout allows for installation of up to nine 2.5” drives. Finished with an aluminum front panel with built-in handle bar, the SG12 is an excellent case for anyone looking to build a semi-portable, compact workstation or a powerful, yet small gaming system. Features • Built-in handle bar design for easy transport
• Supports graphics cards of any length
• Ample space for CPU cooling (82mm in height)
• Micro ATX motherboard & ATX PSU compatible
• Cleanly styled SFF chassis with modernized layout
• Amazing capacity for 2.5” drives

SilverStone SG12B Sugo Series Black Micro ATX Case, Small Form Factor is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very expensive for what you get. I've been building PCs for over 20 years but this was my first Silverstone case purchase. At this price point I was expecting perfection; to say I was disappointed is an understatement. There's so much wrong here, I'm not sure where to start... OK, first thing, this case (with shipping) is nearly £100 & before you can get into it you're going to need a screwdriver! Come on, seriously, no thumb screws to gain entry to a £100 case? Next up is the case lid - the finish on mine was poor with uneven speckled / splattered paint that had run slightly on one edge. The lid is also a nightmare to remove & refit. Again, at this price point it should slide on / off & locate precisely & effortlessly. Instead, you'll be frustrated trying to locate three sets of bent metal tabs simultaneously in order to locate the lid correctly. All this whilst listening to the tinny clank of the thin metal Silverstone elected to use in its construction. Once inside, watch your fingers, there are some sharp edges in there, particularly around the holes for the (optional) 80mm fans & the removable hard drive bracket. Component placement is easy enough with plenty of access space, although you'll be needing that screwdriver again as all the hard drive / optical drive bays use screw-in-a-hole fitment. As others have said, a modular PSU would be ideal as there is absolutely no cable management provision within the case, with the top hard drive tray being the only realistic place to stow unused cables. The only saving grace this case had & luckily, the one my client loved, was the front panel - well designed and well constructed. However, with the poorly fitting lid, sharp internal edges & zero cable management options, there's little to recommend this case. In fact, as someone who builds PCs regularly, it was a throwback to the rough & ready cases I worked with more than 10 years ago. At this price, there's much better quality to be had with other manufacturers...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It has a carry handle, it's small! I was looking for a case for a portable and easy to store micro-atx build, and there are surprisingly few options so I was delighted to find this case. Internal layout is excellent except for one thing: the hdd cage is positioned such that installed drives will just about get in the way of a long gpu. Removing the 12mm fan from the cage and shifting it along might amend this, but it wasn't a problem I needed to fix. The capacity for SSD drives is fantastic. There aren't many options for cable management, so you could really do with a modular PSU. I was able to creatively secure cables through a lot of the screw holes and in spaces around the optical drive bay. Make sure you consider your cpu cooling solution, I ensured the cooler I had allowed for the fan to be reversed to blow air away from the cooler and into the PSU fan. The outer case can be awkward to remove and put back on, it's worth getting a feel for before you start installing parts. It's what I expected, I think it's a great case though not quite worth £90. It does look very very good, but for having a carry handle it could have done with some structural protection to allow it to be stood with the handle on top.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good case if you plan ahead The case is good, very sturdy and looks nice on a desk. It is coincidentally about the right height to sit my Surface Pro on and have it in line with my monitors, which is nice. I used the case with an NH-L9x65 CPU cooler and I did have to flip the fan for optimal airflow. It fit my triple slot graphics card though which was good. I used a full modular power supply of 180mm and an optical drive, and I could route the cables fairly neatly, though the hard drives are quite hard to access as a bit of the room in front of them is used for cable routing. I added some rubber washers to the hard drives and that has reduced noise significantly, the included SilverStone fan is fairly quiet. It's a bit expensive just to get the aluminium front, but the handle will be useful too. I just wish that they made some effort to sound damped HDDs so I wouldn't need to, but it's not the end of the world.
