Silent X Technology
The XPC SN95G5 V3 proudly wears the Silent X technology logo. The Silent X concept is embodied in a number of discreet Shuttle technologies, including; A Silent X PSU, Integrated Cooling Engine (ICE); and intelligently-engineered airflow mechanics.

Integrated Cooling Engine (ICE) Module
The Integrated Cooling Engine (ICE) included in the SN95G5 V3 improves on previous XPC ICE designs. The ICE module's thermal resistance has been reduced to an amazing 0.16oC/W. This is more half the thermal resistance of first generation XPCs and almost one-third that of Intel's BTX standard. Further, the heat exchange surface area has been greatly increased. In addition, this model sports a large 92mm cooling fan to quietly push more air out the back of the case.

The Integrated Cooling Engine uses convection (liquid) cooling to transfer heat away from the processor and other critical system components. Copper tubing, coated in nickel and filled with distilled water provides the conduit through which heat is radiated out of the chassis.

Smart Fan
As mentioned, the XPC SN95G5 V3 features a new 92mm Smart Fan, which moves (50CFM) a great volume of air. This fan features a 4-pin header, i.e PWM spec, and be linearly controlled in BIOS, which means that "fan cycling" is a thing of the past.

240 Watt Power Supply
The SN95G5 V3 features the "Super Quiet, Super Cool" Silent X 240W PSU. Tested in our acoustic lab from a distance of 50cm (many competitors take measurements at 1M), the PSU operates at just 32dB, which is equivalent to the news generated by quite room and just barely audible to the human ear.

Airflow
The XPC SN95G5 V3 features more air intake points designed to keep the motherboard cool and stable. The underside edge is lined with intake points. Other intake points are also located on the underside of the machine to improve motherboard cooling. Internally, the NB fan directs air across MOSFETS, providing superior cooling and stability.

Integrated Cable Management
Starting with the SN85G4 (production version), all new XPC's will ship with integrated cable management to ease installation. IDE cables will be pre-installed, and power leads will be wrapped and clipped to the chassis. The SN95G5 V3 goes one step further and integrates one serial ATA cables for the rack HDD.
