ScanFX SSD Spacer for 7mm to 9.5mm is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Made a SSD Install Easy Fitting a SSD into a MacBook early 2008 and even though the drive fits into a tray, it would have been a bit low sliding it blind into the computer to meet up with the power and SATA connections. Probably would have to used cardboard which is not ideal. I used a bit of Pritt Stick to attach it to the drive. Thin double sided type could be used as well. It is a cheap extra if you are buying a SSD that may save you a headache in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No glue or other attachment method tgese come without any way to stick them to drives so unless you just want a wobbly bit of plastic knocking about in your computer you should look at an alternative.

Questions & Answers

How do these fit to SSD?

Do these screw to the SSD or have to be glued?
Asked by: Curiousclive
The spacer does not have any screw holes. I used Pritt Stick which is a light craft glue but a thin double sided tape could be used as well.
