The KD-222 is a professional 22” kick drum with a full-depth wooden shell to deliver the most immersive V-Drums Acoustic Design experience yet. The KD-222 sports an innovative pad sensor integrated into a head which mounts using the same method as an acoustic drumhead. Each time the beater strikes, air pressure inside the shell is accurately vented for a pedal feel which is strikingly similar to that of a traditional acoustic kick drum. And thanks to Roland’s intelligent triggering and sensor technology, each and every stroke is precisely detected for perfect sound reproduction.
