this keyboard is good, the keys are nice and responsive, it has loads of features and looks nice.
but the build quality is offensive.
the wrist rest that "wont wear" very quickly loses its matte finish and ends up looking glossy and greasy.
the leds are constantly dying because of deliberately insufficient esd shielding.
I am now on my 3rd keyboard because the first two had leds that died and now this one has the same problem.
if you want to get a gaming keyboard with loads of features in this price range, do yourself a favour and get the Corsair K95 RGB.
the corsair k95 rgb was specifically designed with surface mount leds to eliminate the dead led issue because so many of their boards were returned.
so far scan have been very good with the returns, I hope they will put up with me one last time! :)

Mainly used for gaming, good build quality, per key illumination is nice, usb pass through and audio is handy, the Roccat software that can be downloaded opens up the keyboard a lot.
Although I mainly bought this to use the Roccat talk feature with my mouse, it's still a bit buggy, but now I have the keyboard I'm very happy with it in itself, feels like it will go the distance. The thumbster keys are what sold me on this as my thumb was limited to ALT and space keys only.
Overall a good keyboard with good software to back it up, had I bought the MK Glow version however I would probably be just as happy with some extra money in my pocket. Cherry MX key type is user preference so I won't go into that.
