Product Overview Rextron VGA Extenders have a built in noise suppression circuit, which eliminates signal loss for superb SVGA quality. Because they are can be used with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) CAT5E cable, they provide a cost effective way to extend your Video and Audio signals by using CAT5E. It works by taking the left and right audio channels (3.5mm Stereo Jack - Jack cable, not supplied) and combining them to form a mono signal before transmitting to the remote unit via CAT5E cable. Therefore, the left channel and the right channel audio signals at the remote unit are the same.

The “VGA CAT5 Extender” pair enables you to transmit VGA signals up to 150M (500 ft.) away with resolution up to 1024 x 768. Featuring common mode noise suppression circuit for superb VGA quality via inexpensive unshielded twisted pair CAT5 cables. The Local unit duplicates the input signal for local use and transmits the VGA signal to a Remote unit. Upon receiving the VGA signal via a CAT5 connector, the Remote unit broadcasts the signal to two VGA outputs. A convenient Gain (equalization) control selector on the Remote unit is designed for optimum signal clarity according to the length of the CAT5 cable. EVA214 always has audi function.

Both pairs are ideal for public broadcasting, exhibits, retail stores, courtrooms, stock tickers, bus station and many more applications.

The Local Unit
Duplicates the input signal for local use (2 monitors) and transmits the SVGA signal to a Remote Unit, when the signal is received by the Remote Unit, via CAT5E connector the Remote Unit broadcasts the signal to two SVGA outputs.

The Remote Unit
A convenient Gain (equalisation) control selector on the Remote Unit is designed for optimum signal clarity according to the length of the CAT5E cable used.

Explaining how a modern GPU works in completeness would take a book. Or two. Per class of chip. Per vendor. They’re extraordinarily complex pieces of engineering and production, and the end result contains more transistors than multiple modern x86 processors.

Whether the broadcasters are going HD or not, TV sets and projectors are arriving thick and fast which claim to support higher resolutions than regular telly. But HDTV is far from just one standard – it incorporates a couple of different resolutions, two different scanning modes, and a number of different frame rates. In this article, we present a guide to what all the terms actually mean.

There’s a lot more to High Definition than just having the ability to run your screen at the right resolution. With more than one type of connection available, and the thorny subject of signal encryption to contend with, just because your monitor and graphics are capable of 1,920 x 1,080 or better does not necessarily mean they will be able to display HDTV in all its glory.
