GR5640-SB3 offers multiple host interfaces of Super-speed USB 3.1 Gen 1/eSATA and the equipped LCM enables the convenience of configuration for a desired RAID level among JBOD / RAID 5 / RAID 0 by fully taking advantage from the largest supporting capacity of up to 40TB. The GR5640 is not only gives you a big storage capacity, but delivers data security and performance to various areas of applications and environments.
RAID 5 for Data Safety & RAID 0 for High-Speed Performance
With RAID 5, a user will have the maximum protection of his/her data with allowance for a single drive failure but yet all data will be kept intact. In the RAID 0 mode, a user will have the benefit of a single massive volume for storage with high I/O speed, with sets of data being striped across the four enclosed drives.
Suitable for PC & Mac User
With USB 3.1 Gen 1/eSATA host interfaces, the GR5640 can be used both in PC and MAC environments.
Removable Design, Use Multiple HDDs Together
The GR5640-SB3 has a quadruple drive storage enclosure system that supports the latest 3.5" and 2.5" SATA hard drives to deliver high-capacity data storage solutions. Featuring flawless structural design, optimized internal configuration, and a durable aluminum casing to protect your internal drives, the GR5640-SB3 is perfect for creative and highly mobile professionals.
Set Up via LCM with Ease!
Users can set up GR5640-SB3 via the LCM and buttons on the front panel, while clearly knowing the real-time status of GR5640-SB3 from the LCM.
While the thick, aluminium, housing design is not only effective in assisting with heat dissipation, it also provides a better physical protection from outer forces and shock. Even if moving the GR5640-SB3, with four HDD installed, will have no concerns of excessive weight causing exterior damage.
MCU Features Provide You In-Chassis Temperature Control
The GR5640-SB3 is also designed with the MCU feature which monitors and helps improvr the system temperature. When the system temperature rises above 50 degree-C (122 degree-F), MCU will bump up the fans with full speed; and once system temperature reaches over 55 degree-C (131 degree-F), the buzzer will sound. You could manually adjust the fan switch on the rear. The MCU can reduce the fan speed down to SMART speed, for more energy efficiency and less fan noise with lower power consumption. In addition, if the fan fails or the device temperature is too high, the buzzer will beep and let the user know that the device has failed. The user can turn this off or on through the mute adjustment switch on the back panel.
