3.5" Powered Studio Monitors
PreSonus - 'Eris 3.5'
Active Media Reference Monitors
Gone are the days where you had to spend a small fortune to enjoy precision sound, and PreSonus’s ‘Eris E3.5’ studio monitors are here to prove it! The Eris E3.5’s are nearfield monitors featuring tough woven composite woofers to deliver superb low-frequency reproduction with almost no distortion, and silk-dome tweeters to produce smooth and crisp highs.
The end result? Sound you can trust. This means that the mixes you create using your Eris E3.5’s will translate better from one stereo to another. This is what separates the E3.5’s from other speakers in this price range, whereas similarly priced speakers are engineered to make music sound better, the E3.5’s were made to reproduce audio with accuracy and precision.
Sound you can Trust
hear everythingThe Eris-series of studio monitors are the choice of audio engineers the world over who need to hear every nuance of their recordings. Perfect for gaming and home video production, the Eris E3.5 uses the very same technology found inside the larger Eris models to produce studio-quality sound, with a rich and precise frequency response.
Woofers that Deliver a Cleaner Overall Sound
Smooth high end and wide sweet spotEvery Eris-series studio monitor utilizes a woven composite, low-frequency driver. The weave and nature of the Eris E3.5’s 3.5-inch woofer result in a more constant dispersion pattern throughout the frequency range, resulting in less time-smeared audio and cleaner overall sound.
The Eris E3.5 is equipped with a one-inch silk-dome tweeter that produces a smooth and refined sound, accurately reproducing transients and high frequencies. The tweeter is designed to radiate sound with a fairly wide dispersion pattern, creating a large optimal listening area or “sweet spot” so you can move around and still hear everything accurately.
Connect to Virtually any Line-Level Source
1/4" TRS / RCA inputs / 1/8" stereo unbalanced With three different types of audio inputs, it’s easy to feed audio to your Eris monitors from a mixer, an interface, a media player, or almost any other line-level source. The Eris E3.5 is equipped with rear-panel, ¼-inch TRS and RCA inputs, as well as front-panel ⅛-inch stereo, unbalanced line inputs for use with mobile audio devices.
With this selection, you’ll have no problem hooking your Eris speakers up with virtually any line-level source, including your smartphone or tablet. The loud, clear, front-panel headphone amplifier lets you work and play in stealth mode, without disturbing your housemates.
Clean, Crystal Clear Sound
Capture every nuance with the M7 microphone
Condenser mics are the overwhelming choice of recording studio professionals, enabling you to capture musical details, harmonics, and subtle nuances that would get lost with dynamic mics.
Large-diaphragm condenser microphones, like the M7, tend to “warm up” a sound, making them the go-to microphone for recording vocals and a wide range of instruments.
Full-Range Headphones with Deep, Rich Bass
Hear every Detail with HD7 Headphones
PreSonus’ high-definition HD7 headphones take advantage of a patented, semi-open sound chamber to deliver exceptionally deep low frequencies with a balanced and yet powerful bass punch.
Accurate midrange and extended treble response let you pick out the fine details of a mix or track. The lightweight, ergonomic design adjusts to any head size, offering a comfortable listening experience during long recording sessions.

You've probably read the USB Tekspek, and perhaps your intrigue, or product interest, has lead you to look up Firewire as well. However, Firewire has its differences, which means it has both benefits and drawback when compared to USB. This Tekspek will look at Firewire and also look at it with respect to USB.
