PreSonus' World of TonesPreSonus’ Ampire is a new State Space Modeled guitar amp/cab/stompbox simulator, included in Studio One Professional 4.6 and later. Featuring five new amplifier models, 16 cabinet emulations, and a pedalboard full of effects, as a first for PreSonus, Ampire is also available for use in other DAWs in VST3, AAX, and AU formats!
PreSonus have enhanced their expertise in State Space Modeling technology to create their own amplifier and stompbox models. This same technology that powers their StudioLive Fat Channel plug-in emulations of the sought-after compressor and EQ designs, while also ensuring that the detailed, variable sonic character of analogue remains present throughout its transition to the digital world.

Impulse ResponsesAs the circuitry of cabinets is fairly simple, PreSonus relied heavily on impulse responses (acoustic measurements of real-world cabinet behavior) and microphone modeling to emulate the recording performance of the 16 classic speaker cabinets found in Ampire. You also get a microphone edit page that gives you control over microphone blend, along with polarity and balance. A convenient tuner is also included.
