Watercooling
Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value product My son is actually writing the review that follows as it was bought for him by me. This is a great compression connector if you need to make 90 degree connections. I've used compression fittings from other manufacturers and to get the tubing over the compression part can be a real chore, even if you heat up the tubing beforehand. However, these were a breeze even without heating the tubing up - they were much easier to use. I was a little skeptical about them as they're not the most expensive connectors available, but so far they've been perfect. They don't look as good as some others you may see, but aesthetics aside, I would recommend these if you're on a budget and want a no hassle solution at 90 defrees. 07 September 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great fittings, no leaks yet! Had no issue with these fittings. They seem sturdy, and smooth when revolving. The compression can be a little hard to do up when fitted to a rad or block as it's quite low profile. I'd recommend doing the compression up first before attaching to a component. Bought 6 of these, great value. They don't feel as solid as I'd thought they should near the revolving joint. However I've not had any leaks let so far, so very happy. It really comes down to looks otherwise. These have an industrial look with the black finish that catches light easily. (see the white specs from the lighting in the picture). It fit my white and black wall mounted build very well. 31 March 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A great product at a lower price. This product is great needs a slight improvement on the o-rings as some fittings once applied leak, under the pressure of the pump speed. 16 December 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Value/Quality Fitting For my first water loop, I went with only Phobya 13/10mm fittings as these were cheap, looked OK and where compression fittings: I was not disappointed. The fitting is very simple; I had no issues with my very first build. Good aesthetics too, not the best, but they've very far from ugly. The killer is the price: so much cheaper than other fittings! (I've used 90 degree, 45 degree and straight Phoyba fittings) 07 November 2013
