The DX3 Pro + is a versatile piece of kit too, with inputs to accommodate USB, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth, the last of which fully supports SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX II and aptX HD protocols. How about pairing the DX3 Pro + with an even more powerful amp, no problem, the DX3 Pro + is capable of operating as a DAC thanks to its RCA output.

Bluetooth 5.0 LDAC
full support for LDACWhilst it’s true the previous iteration of the DX3 Pro + featured Bluetooth connectivity, for the V2, this has been improved. The CSR8675 chip enables Bluetooth in version 5.0 and fully supports LDAC which enables 24-bit file playback. Furthermore, the internal DAC of the CSR8675 chip is not used.
This is linked to the dual AK4493 DACs which are undoubtedly more efficient for digital/analogue decoding.
USB XMOS XU208
play PCM files up to 32bit 768kHzThe XMOS XU208 chip used for the USB interface of the DX3 Pro V2 supports files with high sampling rates. Thus, using this USB input it is possible to enjoy PCM files up to 32bit 768kHz and up to DSD512 Native.
Topping also took the time to offer a custom version of the Thesycon USB driver to ensure better compatibility with computers running Windows.
