'The new audiophile standard'
Sennheiser’s HD 820 are the new standard in closed-back stereo over-ear headphones, delivering highly detailed and precise audio reproduction for audiophiles, mixing and mastering engineers. The closed-back design serves up to 26dB of passive noise cancellation and utilises concave glass covers, which helps limit resonance by reflecting sound to unique and dedicated absorber. The dynamic Ring Radiator transducers offer a max SPL of 103 dB and broad frequency response of 12Hz to 43.8kHz.
Also featured is beautifully handcrafted microfiber ear cushions and a solid metal headband with an internal damper which help contribute to the luxurious comfort and firm stability during long listening sessions. Sennheiser included an impedance-matching cable allows for long distances between you and your chosen headphone amplifier, while the balanced 4.4mm and unbalanced ¼” connectors allow for versatility in connections.

Standout Features
Completely closed.
Outrageously open. The HD 820 fuses our cutting-edge transducer capabilities with exceptional ambient noise attenuation, transcending the perceived limits of closed headphones.
Reflecting
withinA closed back headphone able to produce the wide, natural sound field of an open one requires rethinking the directional characteristics of sound waves.
Fellowship of
the RingAn achievement in its own right, the 56mm ring radiator found in the HD 820 leverages the key benefit of a large diaphragm transducer—air displacement—without losing the rigidity that favorably impacts rest and response times.
