Enjoy.iFi Audio’s ZEN DAC V2 is a wonderfully portable USB headphone amplifier and vastly capable digital audio converter specifically designed to comfortably accommodate a broad selection of headphones and in-ear monitors, resulting in high-resolution PCM, DSD and DXD audio. The ZEN DAC V2 is perfectly suited for use as small form desktop USB DAC and amp, all you have to do is connect to your computers USB port and connect your headphones of choice! It couldn’t be simpler!
Or, should you prefer, it’s perfectly possible to use the ZEN DAC V2 with a pair of active speakers connected to an external amplifier. When compared next to its predecessor, the V2 sees an overall improvement in clock stability and allows for MQA decoding direct from the DAC itself, enabling you to use it in conjunction with Tidal’s hi-fi tier.

It has RCA and balanced outputs at HiFi standard level; 2V SE and 4V BAL and is therefore compatible with both HiFi and Pro systems.
All underpinned by high-quality circuit components such as C0G capacitors from TDK and it’s fed by a precision low-noise power supply from Texas Instruments to make this a rare entry-priced beastie.

iFi Audio - ZEN DAC V2
The ZEN DAC just got even better.
The new version of the ZEN DAC includes a new 16-core XMOS chip – this is the chip that handles the digital data received over USB prior to analogue conversion.
The chip’s increased processing power, coupled with iFi’s custom firmware, enables MQA support to be upgraded from rendering to full decoding.
The ZEN DAC V2 also features an upgrade to iFi’s GMT (Global Master Timing) clock circuitry, delivering even lower jitter performance with corresponding sonic benefits.
