Traditional Telecaster Contours
‘Deep C’ profile mahogany neckThe American Acoustasonic Telecaster sports a hollow, low profile mahogany body which is incredibly lightweight and offers superb comfort, when played seated or in a standing position. Thanks to slender body contours, this guitar is a joy to hold and sits extremely comfortably.
On the subject of comfort, the Acoustasonic Telecaster's body and neck both feature a satin finish and are wonderfully smooth to the touch. There’s also a contoured heel and integrated neck plate to make reaching for the higher registers an easy process.
The Acoustasonic’s soundport has been specifically tuned to deliver an organic and loud voice whilst the mahogany’s tonal characteristics serve up warm tone with an abundance of rich harmonics. To boost playability even further, the neck features a ‘Deep C’ profile and has a 12” radius ebony fretboard alongside 22 narrow frets.
A Revolutionary Blend Of Technologies
FENDER/FISHMAN ELECTRONICSIf you’ve used an electro-acoustic guitar on stage before, you’ll know that problems can and do arise with feedback. For this reason, Fender knew they had to tackle this common issue head on. Fender used this smaller body shape and the impressive Fender/Fishman acoustic engine to remove unwanted feedback and noise.
The acoustic engine is a revolutionary blend of traditional analogue and future technologies to better the Acoustasonic’s natural voice and tweaking the resonance to serve up a superb collection of voices. These acoustic and electric voices are able to be used independently, or, you can choose to merge them via the ‘Mod’ control to curate your own unique sounds!
