Old Blood Noise Endeavours - 'Black Fountain V3'
Digital Delay Pedal

New & ImprovedThe Old Blood Noise Endeavors Black Fountain is a digital delay pedal influenced by the forgotten sounds of old oil-can delay effects units. You may have been lucky enough to have used one of the original units before; a Fender, Morley, or even a Tel Ray, but they are extremely hard to come by nowadays. Old Blood Noise Endeavours have now decided to recreate this in a new and improved modern design.
Amazing Features
• Tap tempo: set your tempo on the fly with two taps of a footswitch, and subdivide that tempo into quarter, eighth, or triplet notes
• Hidden function: hold the Tap footswitch to momentarily maximize feedback, leading to a nearly sound-on-sound effect
• Expression control: use an expressional pedal to control Time, Feedback, or both simultaneously
• Modern, Organ, and Vintage mode give three different takes on the voice of the delays
• Expanded delay time: all the way down to around 30ms and up to around 1s
• Fluid, Mix, Time, and Feedback knobs give control over the elements
Vintage Sound, Modern Features

Highly FunctionalThe Black Fountain takes us back to the days before digital delay, replicating the sounds of those famed and elusive "oil can delay" units. These boxes created a chorus-like modulation on the repeats of the effect signal as well as a hypnotic and rich repeat cycle.
The Modern mode recreates the classic long delay "oil can" units such as the Morley EDL, Tel-Ray Model 10 and Fender Echo-Reverb. The Time and Repeat controls replicates the functions of the vintage units, while the Fluid control adds modulation based on the characteristic "wobble" of the electrostatic delay platter.
The Vintage mode is similar in function to the Modern mode, but more grit and gain texturs to the repeats. Both the Modern and Vintage mode have a delay time of 800 milliseconds.
Features That Go Above & Beyond

Organic TonesThe Organ Tone mode is based around the Tel-Ray Deluxe Organ Tone, Fender Dimension IV and other short-delay "oil can" units. The vintage units had a fixed delay time of approximately 20 milliseconds, which you can find here, but the Black Fountain goes above and beyond the original units by including variable Rate and Depth controls for the modulation effect.
The Mix control is also capable of dialing a 100% wet signal so a vibrato effect can be created. The Organ Tone mode also includes a simple reverb that recreates the single-spring tank in the original Deluxe Organ Tone effect and has a delay time of 211 milliseconds.
The expression input allows you take on the fly control over either the Time or Fluid knobs (selectable via internal DIP switches) using an external expression pedal. Allowing you to go from short slapbacks to longer warbly atmospheres simply with your foot. The output level can be set using an internal trim-pot for boost, slight drop, or unity gain.
