Rated 5 out of 5 by FoxyXV Works great and is affordable
For the price this is excellent. It has a nice professional look in my computer bay and it's great to have the control over the fans. And the ability to turn the lights off is great for when watching movies!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Murphy Great product, does everything asked. Just slightly fiddly
So this product works and looks amazing especially if you've never had a fan controller before. It was very easy to install, all pretty straight forward. Only complaint is that the buttons along the side (sound and display power button), are a bit to small in relation to their touch area. I was unable to turn the display of within the first few tries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ByteMarq Great product at a reasonable price
Works well, easy to setup and use. I think this is a very good product at a reasonable price. The only thing I'd like to have had was more than 1 temperature connection so that I could monitor water temp and cpu temp separately, but that is more a nice to have.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Greg88 Great fan controller for price
Can't say much more than the other reviews have already said. Easy to install. Easy to use. Looks good. I will say out of the three settings you can use the manual one is the best because you can set the speeds to what you need. And as usual Scans service second to none.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cheekz Nice but expensive
This was very easy to install and does look very nice however the silent mode only puts the fans to 40% which isnt as low as i'd like and it is quite expensive however if you can afford it then i 100% recommend it. Looks very nice on my case and the functionality is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wiggedywoo Great value fan controller
I have this setup inside the solo 5.4" bay on my BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX case. The controller is then attached to a free 4pin molex power on the PSU. Mine is controlling 2x 120mm Noctua NF-F12 PWM fans and 1x Phanteks PH-F200SP silent fan. The controller can control upto 5 fans. It supports both 3 or 4pin, upto 15W each, to a total of 75W. You can remove fan connection wires from the back of the unit for any you dont need, which is nice for cable management. For any connection wires you dont have attached, the number on the controller will not be lit (eg. in my case only 1-3 are lit).
It comes with 2 temperature probes (1 being a spare as only 1 can be fitted at one time). I have this attached to the top of my water pump. They come with sticky tape for attachment.
The controller has 3 settings: quiet, performance, and manual. Quiet and performance both use the temperature from the probe to determine the speed, but the performance setting is pretty much set to maximum rpm. Ive had mine set on manual pretty much since day one.
You can slide your finger up and down the slider to adjust the temperature or can use the up and down buttons.
A nice feature of this contoller is the ability to link up certain fans so you can adjust them all at once and have it not adjust others. Great if you want to lower/raise the rpm of all the case fans but keep a radiator fan at the same setting.
I did have to use low noise adapters on the Noctua fans as the lowest setting on the controller is 40% and that was still too high an rpm for my liking. The noise adapters (which are included with Noctua fans) reduced the rpm by 300-400 allowing me to get to 700 rpm rather than 1000rpm without them. 800 rpm seems to be a sweet spot for low temperature and minimal noise.
The touch screen is responsive and beeps when touched. The noise and screen can both be toggled on and off. The on/off button does seem to be in a very akward spot and i found it hard to toggle. It was almost like not touching the button but having to touch the right of it which was very almost inside the edge of the drive bay.
Would highly recommend for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hezbehindyou good.
the nzxt sentry 3 fan controller is quite good, the only thing i can say bad about it is that it dose not give a very accurate cpu temp. Even though it gives you a rough idea i still felt the need to download software to give me accurate reading. i used speccy. this being said it dose what it says on the tin. 4 out of 5 stars not to bad for a cheep fan controller.
