Chassis Airflow
Chassis Airflow
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by love the case! High quality, cool features, good value for money, sleek and smart. I love the removable hard drive bay which makes more than enough room for large graphics cards and also helps with cooling. The fans are good, quiet yet fast, fan control works well too. I would really recommend this product to everyone! 04 January 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Pro's This case is a thing of beauty! I built my first computer in this case and it made the job super easy seeing as it was so big/had plenty of room to work with. I also fitted a n h100 water cooler into it and it fit perfectly. The build quality is remarkable. Cons: The black paint is easily scratched depending on what surface your building, so be careful! 15 December 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Brilliant case Beautiful case and everything I wanted. Well put together and the perfect size for any decent gaming build. My only complaints which are minor are that the rubber grommits are pretty much pointless, they come off the metal casing as soon as you put anything through them. No hole at top of case for power cable into the MOBO. A purely cosmetic issue, Just means you can't have very good cable management. All in all it's a brilliant case and a fantastic price! I would recommend to anyone. Thanks 02 November 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great build quality, lots of room for cable management, good price. The case is built brilliantly, there is plenty of room for cable management (the 24 pin connector was easy to route). The fan controller is a good addition. Definently worth £84. PS: It looks stunning aswell. 30 August 2013
