It’s been a long time since MHz were the only part of a CPU’s specification that concerned people. Manufacturers take different approaches to CPU design, even when using the same architecture. That means for example, at the same clock speed, an Intel and AMD processor will deliver different performance.

Chassis Airflow
Chassis Airflow
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Great product and excellent service from scan as always

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems pretty basic Instructions don't make sense and I can't figure out the controls other than plain RGB. The glue doesn't hold the LED strips to my case, I've had to cable tie them in place, but it works, looks pretty and so for what I paid, it does the job, just.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Overall a very good product however the sticky tape on the L.E.D is not very good... at all. It fails to stick sometimes and keeps falling off i've had to use cable ties in some places to properly secure it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool LED's I love these RGB LED light. Well done NZXT and Scan.co.uk for great customer service as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great It does exactly what its intended to do. The range of colours is great. It can be blended to any colour you want in seconds. If you need to inspect something in your case, setting it to white really lights everything up so you can see if a wire of header is loose or anything. The 5 brightnesses are handy, but not as handy as the off mode. Its really nice to be able to turn the whole thing off really easily if you are gaming in the dark and get distracted easily by the beauty of your rig. Would 100% recommend for anyone who wants flexible and easy top use case lighting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A well built product which is easy to install. The LED strip is made from a flat piece of rubber/plastic that is hard to bend at right angles but apart from this, this is an amazing product.
