Reviews
Netgear Nighthawk X10 AD7200 802.11ac/ad Quad-Stream Wi-Fi Router, Quad Core 1.7 GHz CPU, MU-MIMO, 10 GbE SFP+ Fibre LAN is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the money and improves speed Firstly I seen some reviews online saying bad stuff, but some good stuff, my honest opinion is below. I am a computer tech and know my products well. The speed improvement is amazing comparing to other router I had in AC mode and major improvement if you have Super Hub 3 by VM. The coverage is wide spread throughout the house, it goes further but not majorly compared to a router that costs £100+ The handling of data using QOS is amazing and using mobile devices including my iPhone X I’m getting 380mbps download and 20 mbps upload which is the maximum speed, slightly drops when I’m on 2 bar coverage. It has Plex which is amazing just like Netflix and I stream in my house and outside at friends, real bonus to the router. Gaming benefits are it doesn’t cause lag or streaming lags especially 4K movies. Only downside it is expensive but you get what you it for, by far the best overall and cannot say how easy it is to setup, Plex is a little harder but you can read up. I’ve setup a usb drive to act as a NAS drive and speeds for transfer are about 100MB per sec. The dual link Ethernet aggregation feature is really good to make your ethernet connection to 2Gbps instead of 1Gbps. I would give it 6 stars for what is offers. Top buy and remember your buying the high end router so price should not be an issue.
