Rated 4 out of 5 by EngineerFatherof4 Board quality good but installation leaves room for improvement
Power connector position makes it unsupported by motherboard standoffs, take care when inserting.
One factor for buying Asus was fan control.
But this board has only 2 Chassis fan connectors and they are next to each other near the back of the board. So I could not reach the chassis front fan.
Documentation for the NVMe slot is lacking, given that it is a new connector type for most of us.
DDR4 insertion is also not explained well for those used to DDR3.
A block for the chassis connectors would be useful. I think that ASRock did this for one board I had. Plug them all into the block then connect the block to the board. Much less fiddly.
Software AI Suite is really poorly documented. Which chassis fan is which? Fine to play with, harder to install first time.
I have not yet found SpeedFan support for this motherboard.
So far I used the stock cooler for i5 6600 3.3Hz, so no space issues. Radeon Fury X intergrated water cooled GPU.
Windows 10 booting from Samsung NVMe SM951 (plus one SSD, no HDD), really quick, but again installation is difficult because Windows 10 wants to call it a disk and it is difficult to identify which device is which! Maybe BIOS could help more here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chester Thoroughly recommended for those who don't wish to overclock
A feature rich board with the all important M.2 PCIe socket for SSDs that make your PC rock! I mean this is a game changer and no reasonably serious PC should be without one. I have no wish to overclock and just fitted an i5 6500S, perfect for my needs. The fan control is superb and makes for a really quiet PC. Everything else is exactly as you'd expect from Asus, a company who's been doing this for years. So it's a great piece of kit, I've had 3 of these now (2 in my friends' PCs) and it's repeatedly been a joy to work with. Highly recommended.
