Rated 5 out of 5 by from everything I wanted I was worried having had many multi fan graphic cards nvidia and and.all the single single fan blower cards I owned r9 card had three fans and ran around 69 deg. My new card is running at 30 and 49 when very quiet....I have wound the fan to max and its only noisey over 80 normally runs around 30 to 40 rig is rizen 1800..32 gig ram...hybrid drives ..water cooling....decent case...two 27 inch black hawk monitors.... And off course bf4 and bf1 played to the max

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Card Pros: - GTX 1080Ti is a beast in it's field. - 4K gaming is finally stable (able to pull 60FPS on most games) - -Overclocks as advertized for me. I got a constant, over 2.1 Ghz frequency, with No voltage offset! This however was with an EK Titan X waterblock slapped on it. Cons: - Coil Whine and/or noticable noise - Doesn't tell me it loves me back...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Card This is an upgrade for me from a 980ti which was also a founders edition board type from MSI. My 980ti was underwater by means of an HG90 adaptor and a Corsair AIO cooler. It performed really well. I bought this card as I wanted another founders edition board to use with my EKWB water block and new custom loop I have put together. I ran the card for a few days on the standard cooler and as per the other reviewer on here, I got similar results with a mild overclock of both core and memory. To stop it really throttling the fan curve has to be pretty aggressive and is audible to say the least. I am a living room gamer, so I have a small mini ITX case (Core V1) next to the TV so it has to be pretty quiet. Therefore it was only a couple of days before I placed my order for a custom loop. The card now runs between 40 & 50 degrees depending on loading with +165 on the core & +300 on the memory which now gives me consistent frequencies above the 2038MHz mark. On air it usually settled on 1987Mhz max, so its a decent improvement. Obviously its ALOT quieter also which is a big concern for me. This is my third MSI card over a few years and although they might not be as cutting edge as some other newer brands that have recently stolen the limelight, I have always been happy with their performance and support, so they will always get a recommendation from me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4k gaming card, finally This was an impulse buy, as I happened to see the time that these cards would go on sale. My card boosts at stock to 1860Mhz from the advertised 1582Mhz which is a fair boost above advertised for an FE card. Seems most FE cards boost from stoick to 1850-1900Mhz. With a basic OC I can get mine stable at 2000Mhz with no increase in voltage. I cant change the voltage in afterburner but maybe the FE cards are voltage locked and a BIOS flash unlocks? Don't know. But nearly a 25% OC does set me a little at ease wondering if the AIB cards can get much more boost with different cooling. my card hit 69 degrees with the OC in a room at 20 degrees. I came from a 980ti hybrid which was very quiet so it will seem noisier to me but I game with QPAD QH90 headphones. I took them off whilst gaming and whilst the blower style cooler was noisier obviously than my hybrid it wasnt the end of the world. Not recommended for HTPC though. AIB cards will be quieter. Performance. Well I only tested BF4 and I game at 4k and with everything max except motion blur I played for 3 hrs and fps hovered around 90 (Reviews give 75ish with Motion blur on). I usually game fps shooters on low but I forgot how nice BF4 looks. BF1 performed similarly with no blur. I'm going to have to go back and play the Farcry 3 & 4 at max settings coming from 7990.980ti-1080ti. Downside is price, but this is an enthusiasts card. Friends spend more on fuel per annum to go surfing, golf club membership etc it's relative. I run mine with ivybride i7 3770k 16GB ram.
