Moza Air 2: Easy-Breezy

Beefy The Air 2 from Moza is an incredibly powerful, high end gimbal that sits in line with Zhiyun’s Crane 3 LAB and DJI’s Ronin-S or SC. What it boasts over them is a higher weight capacity, able to hold up to 4.2kg, which allows for larger, more documentary or studio focused cameras to be perched atop of the gimbal for steady shots in whatever situation.
Hardware

Batteries Inside, you’ll find a 16-hour battery life, perfect for all day shoots and even if you go over this, they’re replaceable high-rate, Li-ion 18650 batteries (sold separately). With this excess of power, you’ll be able to take advantage of the Spark Power Supply System, which includes other ways to power the gimbal, while also providing power output for lights, microphones and monitors.

4-Axis The Moza Air 2 features “4-axis”, which Moza include the Follow Focus for compatible cameras. The other three axis belong to the actual gimbal area of the device, which provides eight different follow modes. All axes are lockable, adjustable and controllable, allowing you to get the perfect shot every time with just the alteration of a few menus.
Angled Arm
Unlike some other gimbals, the Moza Air 2 features an angled arm that gives you full view to the camera’s screen. You’ll also find some buttons that work with compatible cameras for zoom, focus, ISO, shutter, aperture, exposure and white balance.
With a standard ¼” screw hole underneath, it expands the possibilities that the Moza Air 2 can provide. Attach it to your current kit or have a look at the upcoming Slypod for even more creative ventures.
App, Shooting Modes

Shooting Modes The modes include similar options found in other gimbals, like panorama, tracking, sports mode and Moza’s Inception Mode, which twists the gimbal around during your shot for this incredibly cool effect mimicking the movie of the same name.
App Features, Rebalance Connecting the Moza Air 2 to the app will give you a precise selection of parameters that the gimbal will work with, based on the weight being applied to the gimbal. This will save time on readjusting the device if you decide to add a new camera to it. To aid in this, Moza have fitted the Air 2 with a quick release system that takes Manfrotto quick release plates and a hard stop for swapping out from gimbal to camera, without the hassle of going through the entire rebalancing procedure again.
