Product OverviewMogees: transform anything into a musical instrument Following its success on Kickstarter, Mogees is now making its way into music studios and performances. The Mogees VST and Audio Unit plugin for Mac (and soon Windows) contains all of the features from the popular iOS version and more.
Turn a tree into a harp. Turn a table into a drumkit. Turn a chair into a MIDI controller. Mogees gives you an entire world of new creative possibilities and is now available for iOS devices and as Audio Unit plugin for Mac (& Windows PC coming soon!).
Mogees combines a vibration sensor with intelligent music software, transforming any object around you into a unique musical instrument. The Mogees sensor is a high quality contact microphone that captures every vibration you create as you play any object. It is also the first ever to be designed to work with smartphones as well as with standard audio equipment and computers using our custom Mogees adapter. The app is available for both iPhones, iPods and iPads running iOS 8 or newer. The Mogees software is also available as VST/AU plugin for Mac and soon for Windows PC in order to run Mogees in any digital audio workstation such as Live, Logic, Cubase etc.

Mogees Vibration Sensor When stuck to an object, the Mogees sensor captures every vibration you create as you play the object.
Mogess Gestures Recognition Technology The sensor detects the vibrations you create when touching the physical object and send them to the Mogees software, which will detect the audio frequencies generated by your gesture and will tune the sound of your instrument accordingly in real-time. The most unique feature is that the software can learn a series of different ’gestures’ recorded by the users, such as taps or scratches and recognise them during performance. Each gesture you record can be either associated to MIDI notes, samples or one of our growing collection of Mogees sound engines, specially designed to allow fine grain control over synthesis parameters with your gestures
Mogees Sound Engines Choose from a growing selection of versatile sound engines, specifically designed to be controlled with your gestures. - MUON: Physical Modelling Re-Synthesizer - Every acoustic sound in the real world is created by an impact of two bodies: a resonator (for example the string of a guitar) and an exciter (for example a plectrum). With Muon it is possible to emulate the sound of a variety of resonators made of different materials, where the exciter becomes any sound captured by the Mogees sensor. - Interpol808: a classic drum machine emulator - Blue Steel: a complex Karplus-Strong steel string resonator - Foxtrot: a retro-electro percussive drum synth
The new VST plugin The plugin contains all of the features from the Mogees iOS App including 4 diverse sound engines an intelligent real time gesture recognition, and extends its capabilities for use within the studio or on stage. The Plugin features full MIDI integration from inside all popular DAWs like Ableton Live, Logic, Garageband and many others. You can connect multiple Mogees sensors to your audio interface and run many instances of the plugin at the same time.
Sync Mogees with your existing tracks Send MIDI notes from your sequencer to the Mogees plug to synchronise your live performance with existing tracks.
