DJI Mavic 2 Zoom: See the Bigger Picture

See New DepthsDJI’s groundbreaking drone technology takes another step forward, with the DJI Mavic 2. Taking the original Mavic Pro line of drones and improving by creating two new variations to suit your needs, with this version being new to the family, the Zoom.
DJI's Overview

Professional Systems

Gimbals The Mavic 2 range features the same DJI technology you've come to know and rely on. The 3-axis gimbal that supports the camera ensures a smooth and stable operation when filming or taking photos, in any situation.
Hyperlapse and Hyperlight Utilising the Mavic 2's Task Library, you can set the drone to follow a certain path that will then take a series of photos in either JPEG or RAW (for more flexibility in post), which when edited together will produce timelapses that just can't be beat. Hyperlight is DJI's new feature that helps enhance images in lowlight with minimal noise.
Click the icons below to see examples of Hyperlapse.
DJI Technologies

OcuSync 2.0 With the OcuSync 2.0 Video Transmission System, performance has received a massive boost when feeding video to you. The Mavic 2 can now beam 1080p video over 8km uninterrupted, features 2.4 to 5.8ghz to achieve a smooth signal throughout your flight and fast downloading, with low-latency.
Improvements over the Mavic Pro

LongerFlight time has been increased to
31 minutes

FasterMavic 2 can now fly up to 72kph, as it has 19% less body drag

QuieterA new low noise design, you won't disturb your surroundings
DJI Technologies: ActiveTrack 2.0

Better than ever On top of all the drone improvements, the software that runs some of the best features in the DJI drones have seen massive improvements with the Mavic 2.
Precise Recognition Whereas previous drones needed a 2D image to stay focused on a subject, the Mavic 2's recognition software allows for the drone to map a 3D view as it flies, utlising the new dual sensors to improve upon its accuracy.
Trajectory Prediction When following subjects, the Mavic 2 will map out a predicition of where it believes the subject is about to go. In a race, this could be as the cars dip behind something, the drone will continue its flight path in an attempt to predict where the subject will go next.

High-Speed Tracking The Mavic 2 can now keep up with incredibly fast objects or subjects, with the 72kph speed.
Obstacle Sensing With new and improved sensors, the Mavic 2 can follow a target without getting hung up on its surroundings. As it comes in close, the drone will begin to avoid them by itself, meaning your unmmaned flight and recording won't be ruined.

DJI Technologies: Panoramas With the Mavic 2, you can take panoramas in four different modes, Sphere, 180-degrees, Horizontal and Vertical. These take the original tech behind the Mavic Pro's panoramas and produce even more stunning images with the Hasselblad 1-inch CMOS camera.
DJI Technologies: Shooting Modes
POI 2.0 With vision and GPS technologies, the Mavic 2 with the power of POI 2.0 eliminates a whole section of your flying workflow by circling and shooting objects with ease.
Waypoint 2.0 (COMING SOON) Waypoint 2.0 allows you to map out where you'd like the Mavic 2 to fly and with the new and improved sensors, the drone will follow the path. This can also be saved for future reference or flights.
Asteroid Asteroid has the Mavic 2 swing up and around with a Tiny Planet view, zooming in quickly to give you a very cool shot.
Boomerang Swivelling around an axis and then back to the starting point, you can focus in on an object and get an incredible shot.
Dolly Zoom Exclusive to the Mavic 2 Zoom, this brings intense effects to your video, that only the unique zoom lens on the Zoom can bring.
