The amount of customization this mouse has is awesome and the feel and weight of it are great also.
Unfortunatly, the laser is the worst ever. Even the tiniest vibration on your desk and the cursor will go bananas and dance all over the screen. That means playing any music with speakers on the desk etc. I have a fan on my desk now and the cursor is flying all over the place just from the tiny vibration from a desk fan. Play some music with heavy bass and the mouse is just unusable. A simple google search shows many people with the same issue due to the laser used by Mad Catz. Hardly a gaming mouse with a laser as bad as that.
To top it off one of the thumb buttons on mine broke off completely after less than 3 weeks of very light use.
If you are a serious gamer, steer well clear of this mouse.

This is my 2nd of these, i had to get another as i just couldn't get used to a normal one again, the thumb scroll and thumb buttons are just so usefull.
Adjustable to your hand size via a changeable palm rest for height and you can also change the positioning length wise too.
Thumb buttons are moveable to postion back and forward via a grub screw and the tool for this is in the back of the mouse.
Weight system that is adjustable.
Mad Catz software is easy to install and use with so many setup types this mouse is great for everyone.

Great all round mouse, amazing build quality, rugged design. it's aluminium frame makes it feel sturdy. it's plastic buttons feel solid and as if they wont break if you touch them. there are a million different combinations to suit all tastes. the only three things I would bring up about this mouse is 1. the spring should have been longer so that more compression was applied when few weights are used (may rattle) 2. some customers like a very heavy mouse and others may like a light mouse, for me, there wasn't a big enough range of weights. and last but not least the price. I bet Mad Catz could make this mouse much cheaper. in conclusion this mouse was very fitting to my tastes. I would recommend this product.
