M-Audio have found their way into many studios around the world and the reason is because of products like Axiom Air Mini . The Axiom Air mini has slimmed down mini keys that are velocity sensing. As well as 8 dynamic trigger pads, 8 knobs, 3 transport buttons, 5 navigation buttons and some amazing software in Ignite by AIR.
The M-Audio Axiom Air mini 32 comes with 4 32 velocity sensing mini-keys with selectable touch curves. Its very rare to see these kind of features in a mini keybed but M-Audio know size doesn't have to impact quality.
Whether trying to emulate old skool producers from the past or just need some trigger pads for your drums you wont be disappointed with the 8 dynamic pads that come with Axiom Air. These bad boys are responsive, feel tough and are ready to take a hit.
Knobs and Buttons
The Axiom Air mini packs in quite a bit when you consider the size. 8 knobs are placed in the middle of the panel, perfect when you are wailing away and need to get to a synth parameter. Dedicated transport and navigation controls (up/down/rec/play/stop etc) for the producers who don't want to break flow and pick up a mouse.
Using Hyper Control makes working with a bunch of plugins easy it essentially maps parameters from your software to your Axiom Air hardware. What is really cool is you can switch off certain parts and create your own way to use your products.
The Axiom Air mini is USB powered and has a mini footprint. If you are looking for something to throw in your backpack the mini is ideal for sketching ideas or using as your main keyboard.
