USB 3.0, also known as SuperSpeed USB, is a buzzword you might have seen popping up repeatedly over the last 12 months or so. In this guide, we'll explain what it is, what it does, and what it could mean for you as the consumer.
A motherboard’s main job is to act as a conduit between the various hardware elements that make up a PC. It needs to be able to link the desired CPU(s), system memory, graphics card, hard drive(s), and add-in cards and enable them to work in harmony.
Rated 4 out of 5 by MrRusty Good product but loading drivers was tricky
Card is now working perfectly and does what it says on the tin!
However, getting the correct drivers loaded (Windows 7) was difficult - no instructions on what to load, manufacturers website does not have this card NW-202 listed on their download page.
Eventually found you must run the NEC/RENESAS setup.exe first to get the USB3.0 hub installed, then run the Realtek RTL8153 setup to get the Gigabit Ethernet working. You have to run these setup files - windows 7 does not seem able to select the correct drivers for itself.
