Product Overview PC-A05N has special safety features such as folded edges at strategic points to prevent sharp edges hurting users.

Classic Style, Simple and Clean cut design and shape. Using 1.5mm thick aluminum panels formed with the unique hair-line brushed anodized aluminum finishing.

The idea for creating PC-A05N, is to save user's space, and no need to use poor performance hardware, PC-A05N can fit standard ATX motherboard, power supply and powerful graphics card.

The front mounted stanrdard ATX PS/2 power supply unit, allow PC-A05N to be shorter, and smaller, but still easy to be install and service, the perfect ballance of space & hardware performance.

PC-A05N has the power supply units in the front, so we use front panel to keep the noise down. it also exhaust the hot air out of the system, through the vent holes on the front panel.

Lian Li designers consider every detail. The PC-A05N is equipped with anti-vibration clips and grommets on the chassis, to absorb the noises created by vibrating and spinning parts. The EMI spring on the top cover absorbs the vibrations, without interfering with the side panel. Features Chassis has anti-vibration grommets to support the motherboard tray. The anti-vibration spring clips on the chassis push against the side panel to reduce the chance of vibration, while enhancing the perfect fit between the removable parts.

PC-A05N features Lian Li patented Anti-virbation HDD cage, which allow user to fit three of 3.5" HDD. It is easy to use, no tool required, simply using the special thrumb screw to secure the anti-vibration rubber ring to the HDD, and slide the HDD into the cage.

PC-A05N has the power supply units in the front, therefore the air flow design is unlike standard chassis, it has the rear 12cm fan to intake cool air into the system, and the power supply and the 12cm fan in the HDD cage exhaust the hot air out of the system, through the vent holes on the front panel.

There is a 120mm exhaust fan at the rear of the chassis. The fan is extremely silent and can bring a good volume of air from outside the case.

PC-A05N equipped a vented PCI bracket, it can improve the cooling issue at the lower part of the motherboard.

Multi-media port connectors follow international specification standards, with one connector for easy installation.

Audio supports HD Audio or AC97 Audio. The dual design is for better compatibility options.

All I/O ports on the top cover, allow for easy access, there is also a dust-free cover to protect these connectors.

Chassis Airflow
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.
