Two Channel Frequency Splitter Pedal
KMA Audio Machines - 'Tyler'

The Ultimate ToolThe KMA Audio Machines Tyler is an active and variable two channel crossover/signal splitter. This splits your signal with high and low pass paths. Each filter has a 12db/Oct. roll-off with a variable cut-off frequency from 20Hz to 3kHz. Both channels have their own foot-switchable buffered FX-Loop to process your lows (Wood) or your highs (Steel) with separate effects loops in parallel.
The Mix knob changes the ratio of the Low Pass and High Pass signals. The range goes from 100% LP over to a 50/50 ratio until 100% HP when fully to the right. The mix control has a flat response, with equally chosen cut-off frequencies for the LP and HP to avoid jumps. If needed, the level control can increase your mixed signal up to 14dB.
To avoid any phase-cancellation issues when external pedals are added, a phase inverter and internal trim pots have been added to control the impedance for the main input, and for each effects-loop. This is very useful when you want to insert your favourite fuzz pedal and get the perfect tone.
Amazing Features
• Each channel comes its own switchable and buffered FX loop to process lows or highs
• The phase inverter switch and trim pots allow for impedance control
• Designed, assembled, silkscreened, tested and numbered by hand
• Up to 14 dB of optional boost
The Best of Both Signals

Never Look BackThe Tyler can be used when bass players want to keep their low end while using a fuzz or dirt pedal. Add the fuzz/dirt pedal to the highpass FX-Loop and adjust the cut-off frequency of the High and Low Pass to find the tone you want.
Then dial in your ideal ratio of those Low and High Pass signals, hit the STEEL footswitch and you should have a huge new tone where you’ll never look back.
A New Staple To Your Sound

Like Two Guitars At OnceYou can also add different modulation pedals, like a phaser for the lows and an atmospheric delay for the highs and the Tyler will make it sound like two different guitars playing at once.
Mix up your modulation pedals with any dirt pedals, for more clarity and a punchy tone all coming from one amp. All this adds up to show that the Tyler is a very handy tool for your tone, adding layers to your tone and sparking creativity.
Built By Hand

Maximum DurabilityEach KMA Audio Machines pedal is designed, assembled, silkscreened, tested and numbered by hand in their small workshop. KMA use external manufactured PCBs to ensure a high-quality standard whilst keeping the price reasonable.
An indestructible powdercoated die-cast enclosure has been used to guarantee maximum durability. By trusting in the environment and wanting to keep it clean, none of the KMG pedals can be powered by batteries, so each pedal can be at full potential all the time.
