The Xeon Gold Series on the 3647 socket aims to provide Great Performance using Faster Memory, Increased Interconnect & Accelerator Engines, and all combined with Advanced Reliability. These Xeon Gold (61xx) CPUs improve upon on the Xeon Gold (51xx) Skylake-SP models, further boosting their capabilities by adding 2S-3UPI & 4S-3UPI support, raising the supported DDR4 speed to 2666MHz, along with providing Node Controller Support, additional 512-bit FMA for AVX-512, and an extra UPI Link, bringing the total to Three. Xeon Gold CPUs also move to an Advanced RAS. The Gold (61xx) Series continues to pack all the same features of Bronze & Silver to help power the next-generation of Workstations & Servers.
