Product Overview

Massive Heat-sink Design

Four copper heat-pipes and massive aluminium heat-sink fins combined together help dissipate heat efficiently.

Unique Aluminium Stick Support

Unique aluminium stick is carefully added not only to give firm support to the heat-sink, but also to ensure the continuous perfect contact between the base and the CPU surface.

Heat-Pipe Direct Touch

Heat-pipes are made super flat by CNC machine to get perfect contact with the heat source (CPU surface). The heat can be drawn fast directly to heat-pipes and transferred to aluminium fins.

High Profile Memory Compatible

The cooler is constructed in a special angle to provide zero interference with all memory slots so that you can use high profile memory modules.

Big Airflow Fan Blade Design

Specially designed fan blades provides big air flow to move massive cold air to cool down the PC system.

Rubber De-Vibration Design

Four rubber pads mounted on the four corners of the fan frame are designed to absorb the vibration during fan operation, therefore to keep the noise at minimum.

4-Pin PWM function

PWM function is used to provide the balance between air flow and noise under different PC operation circumstances.

Intel & AMD Ready Metal Clips

A full set of universal mounting brackets are included so you can mount the cooler on both Intel and AMD platforms. Metal clips design ensure safe and firm mounting. High thermal conductivity thermal grease is also bundled to help with heat transfer.

• 4×6mm Heat-pipes for fast heat transfer.
• Heat-pipe direct touch CPU for best thermal conductivity.
• Unique Aluminium Stick Support Technology.
• No interference with RAM modules.
• 120mm fan with PWM function.
• Special noise & vibration dampener on fan frame.
• Metal mounting kit for safety during shipping.

Intel’s been on a mission of late. That mission revolves around grouping and standardising key technologies under various banners that are designed to ensure hardware compatibility and consumer ease of use. We’ll take a closer look at three such technologies that fall under the headings of Centrino, Viiv, and vPro, respectively.

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

This TekSpek explains why you’d want to overclock your graphics board, the risks in doing so and how you can go about doing it.

There’s been a lot of hype about Intel’s Core 2 recently, even since they launched Core in fact. Words like Conroe, Badaxe and Allendale have been flying around. The bottom line is that Core 2 is the name of Intel’s latest line of CPUs, based on a new micro-architecture, designed for speed and efficiency.

System Noise Reduction
Date Issued: 5th Mar 2007

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
