Usually M.2 SSDs are installed deep inside of notebooks or on motherboards, where they shine with high data transfer rates. To take advantage from this perk is now easier than ever. Thanks to the mounting clip, the M.2 SSD can be installed in the IB-185M2 without tools and is immediately ready for usage. Thanks to the USB 3.1 Type-C™, the M.2 SSD can show its best side.
With the attachment clip the M.2 can be installed easily. In only a few steps it sits firm and well protected.
With the new technology of USB 3.1, even greater data transfer rates are now achieved. USB 3.1 is downwards compatible, with the corresponding cables. The high data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbit/s is supported by the included USB 3.1 Type-C™ cable and only needs a suitable end device in the form of a PC, tablet or similar, with Windows® or macOS®.

All usual M.2 formats can find a place inside the IB-185M2. Thanks to the pre-punched holes, M.2 SSDs with sizes 22x30/42/60/80 mm can be attached easily.
