Prestige Ibanez PerformanceAs part of the SR Prestige Series lineup, the Ibanez SR5000 4-string electric bass guitar is a modern beast! Featuring well-balanced mahogany body with a wenge top and back, the SR5000 also comes with a 5-piece wenge/bubinga Atlas-4 HP neck and wenge fingerboard, giving you both fast and comfortable playability. A touch of class is provided by abalone and pearl inlays. Driven by a pair Bartolini Custom pickups, you get plenty of tonal versatility for all kinds of styles, which can be shaped using Power Curve 3-band EQ and a bypass switch included with the Ibanez SR5000.

Bartolini Custom pickups
Modern Sonic SupremcacyIbanez equipped the SR5000 with a pair of Bartolini Custom pickups to help deliver some of the powerful modern bass tones possible. These pickups are arched to mirror the radius of the fretboard. This positions each string equally distant from the pickup.
Also featured is Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ, their latest refinement on the concept of simple and straightforward EQ control. The Boost and Cut for the Mid Control are both centered on slightly different frequencies, an innovation that offers a preset range of the most favorable bass tones.
Precision tonal control, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypasses activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the full tone control for the passive circuit.

Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
