George Benson SignatureThe name George Benson is nothing short of legendary amongst jazz aficionados, with 10 Grammy’s to his name and a career spanning 60+ years, it’s fair to say George knows a thing or two about writing classic memorable songs. A long time fan of Ibanez guitars, George’s signature line has proved popular amongst fans and players alike since its inception.
The GB10EM features a smallish, single cutaway, full hollow body design with a spruce top with ƒ holes and multi-layer binding on linden back and sides mated to a set-in nyatoh neck with a large headstock and a 22-fret walnut fingerboard with binding and acrylic block position markers. Components include dual, floating Ibanez Magic Touch mini humbucking pickups with individual volume and tone controls, a height-adjustable walnut bridge with a wood covered trapeze tailpiece, and a black pickguard.

Magic Touch-Mini Humbucking Pickups
'razor-sharp precision'Ibanez kitted the GB10EM out with a pair of Magic Touch-Mini humbuckers. These pickups are securely mounted to the pickguard, which results its in a floating action above the top. This in turn means that they do not damped the guitars natural vibrations, which results in huge, rich acoustic tone.
Bursting-full of clean response and clear articulation, this opens the doorway for you to perform fast melodies and complex chord progressions with razor-sharp precision.
