THIN “U”-SHAPED PROFILEThe G2655T-P90’s unmistakable tone is the perfect marriage between brash and brawn with a chambered spruce centre block pushed to its limits by the newly-designed Gretsch FideliSonic 90 pickups.
These impressive single-coil 90 pickups retain the character and warmth of the traditional P90, but with a unique top-end which is nuanced and well-defined. A lightweight spruce centre block runs across the length of the mahogany body, bolstering the arched top whilst ensuring unwanted feedback is not a problem.
To take control of all of this power, Gretsch included a traditional control layout - neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching. Add a little shimmer and expression to your playing with the Bigsby®-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece, while the anchored Adjusto-Matic™ bridge and synthetic bone nut grant astounding tuning stability and accurate, slip-free intonation.
Also featured is a smooth-playing 12”-radius laurel fingerboard with unique oval inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the white-bound nato neck with a thin “U”-shaped profile—ideal for chord work or firing off hot-rodded riffing.
