Phoenix 1070 LED-Lighting

Embedded into the Phoenix GTX 1070 is an LED. This LED will light up when the gaming graphics card is loading, it also adds style and lighting to the inner of your gaming PC.

Phoenix GPU Heat Dissipation: Copper Base & Pipes

Within the Phoenix 1070 are various technologies to help keep GPU cool, other than the two 10cm fans. Primarily there is a copper plate for the GPU to ensure maximum heat transfer. Secondly, this 1070 graphics card also has copper pipes running through it to further increase the dissipation of heat - for those extended gaming sessions.

Phoenix Advanced Heat Control: DrMOS

This technology is designed to handle high currents extremely well. It will achieve low noise output and generate less heat whilst handling these high currents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent price and delivery I have now ordered several components from Scan and have been extremely happy with the price and delivery time. I will definitely be sourcing all my computer components in the future from them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic for the money Let me start by saying that I would give this product 5 stars, but there's one tiny imperfection that may or may not bother some people; aesthetically the card is a bit of a minger with it's colour scheme. The default setting for the coloured LED on the side is a garish and unappealing shade of green. Fortunately it can be changed with Gainward's own "EXPERTool" application that can be downloaded from their site. Anyway, that aside, these cards are cracking - I've got two of them in SLI - and even paired with an aging i7 2600k processor, they just eat up any graphical task without missing a beat. It's hard to believe that not long ago I was paying £2000 for SLI Titan-Xs and in many cases struggling with 4K ultra. A year later however, for less than eight hundred quid I have dual 1070s which absolutely shred the old Titans in the benchmarking stakes. These things are great! The clock speed on the Gainward Phoenix 1070 is more than acceptable, although it does leave very little room for overclocking headway. However, when you're gaming at 4K Ultra @ stable 60FPS, overclocking doesn't really matter much. So far no issues with reliability despite the budget brand, although it's only been a couple of months so I suppose time will be the judge of that. Overall I'm delighted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent performance, cool and quiet This card provides excellent performance and remains cool and quiet as it does so. It's not the prettiest card with that rather garish green light, but I don't look at my case while I play games, so it doesn't bother me.
