If you want to reduce the gain some more, just flip the side mounted gain switch and it will simulate the Plexi-Channel of the Small Box amplifier. Put this overdrive pedal on your board for the Small Box’s accolade-garnering Friedman tone.

The Small Box overdrive can sing with an aggressive rock 'n' roll voice while still being versatile, going from soaring high gain to a punchy boost just by rolling the pedal's gain knob back and flipping the gain structure switch to “lower gain mode”.
