These feature a new solid-body design, hard-tail bridges and interesting new wiring options. Suitable for a wide range of players for any genre, the sleek new Lead models kicked started new creative era in Fender’s history.
The Player Lead II is a tribute to those late 70's models, featuring dual-slanted Player series single coil pickups, a modern "C" neck shape with medium jumbo frets, dual-toggle switches (one for pickup selection, one for phase-reverse), and of course that unique Lead double-cutaway shape. Available in Neon Green, as well as vintage-correct Crimson Red Transparent and Black.

Unique Fender Style
NEW PLAYER SERIES PICKUPSFor greater overall tone, Fender outfitted the Player Lead II with a pair of all-new Player series single-coil Stratocaster pickups.
There’s the traditional 3-way selector switch to offer an extremely broad range of tones to choose from. You’ll of course find the master volume and tone controls so you can sculpt your tone as you see fit.
String-Through-Body BridgeFender included a 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail on the Player series, together with block saddles this provides solid string stabiltiy, tension and sustain.
Up towards that iconic headstock you’ll find vintage "F" tamped machine heads which deliver quick, reliable and accurate tuning. There’s a synthetic bone nut too which protects from string binding whilst also aiding in this guitars impressive sustain capabilities!

It doesn’t matter what the value of the guitar, if you buy it from us we take extra steps to ensure you are completely satisfied with your instrument. Each guitar goes through a 22 step professional guitar set up process to make sure your new instrument sounds as the manufacturer intended it to play.
This means that your guitar may take an extra day to deliver, just so we can get these checks done. You’ll receive email updates once your guitar is ready for despatch.
