2023 Collection Made in Japan Traditional Late 60s Jazzmaster
(3-Colour Sunburst)

VINTAGE STYLE FOR THE MODERN ERAFor players who want the style and sound of Fender’s golden era, Fender have lovingly created the 2023 Collection Made in Japan Traditional Late 60s Jazzmaster. Equipped with the coveted features that defined the decade—including period-accurate sound and playing feel, along with recreated vintage-style pickups—this guitar has all of the “round”, yet bold, tone that made the Jazzmaster a legend.
For authentic, vintage-style tone Fender recreated the pair of single-coil Jazzmaster pickups to sound and feel more like the originals—keeping the focusing cages, of course. The chiming neck pickup is tempered by the bright, aggressive bridge pickup. The U”-shaped neck has a 9.5”-radius fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets for classic playing feel. Vintage-style Jazzmaster bridge, tremolo and tuning machines provide original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability. Other features include the classic lead/rhythm circuit, chrome hardware and 4-bolt neck plate and includes a gig bag.

Why Choose Fender's 2023 Collection
Made in Japan Traditional Late 60s Jazzmaster?

BASSWOOD BODYA common Fender tone wood, basswood’s sound offers a balanced mix of lows, mids and highs.

"U" Shape NECK PROFILERemarkably comfortable, the "U"-shaped neck profile is sculpted for a vintage-style playing feel, perfectly suited for both rhythm and lead.

RECREATED 60S JAZZMASTER PICKUPSFender recreated the pickups to be more 60s-accurate. They’re full of the articulate tone that made Fender instruments famous.

vintage-style FINGERBOARDHosting 21 vintage-style frets, the 9.5”-radius fingerboard provides the comfortable playing feel of a vintage instrument. Some added class is provided by the Pearloid Block inlays.

VINTAGE-STYLE Jazzmaster TREMOLOOne of Fender's most innovative designs, this “Floating” tremolo offers the sound and feel of a vintage tremolo.

LEAD/RHYTHM CIRCUITThis circuit makes it easy to dial in preset rhythm and lead sounds and switch between the two on the fly—great for live performances.
