USA-Made Burstbucker Pickups

medium ‘C’ neck profileThe Les Paul’s of the late ‘50s were a combination of maple on mahogany and this is precisely what Epiphone have served up with the 1959 Les Paul Standard.
Thanks to the top-class flame maple top, the 59 Les Paul Standard delivers a gorgeous snappy tone whilst huge resonance emanates from the classic mahogany body. The 24 3/4” scale neck is comprised of rich mahogany and is of a medium ‘C’ profile to sit in the hand wonderfully.
premium pots and capsIt was back in 1959 when Gibson first included its Seth Lover PAF humbuckers. This sound is immaculately captured with Gibson’s USA-made Burstbucker pickups.
The 1959 Les Paul Standard comes with these included as standard, these highly-respected humbuckers are wired directly into Mallory 150 polyester film caps, with CTS pots and a Switchcraft toggle and jack to deliver truly reliable performance for many years to come.
