Side-Flow
CPU cooler with 12cm PWM fan and four 6mm high-performance heat pipes.

New! Thermal Conductive Coating
Innovative, thermal-conductive coating for an efficient heat dissipation and higher cooling performance.

Adjustable Peak Speed (APS)
Multi-purpose fan for easy customisation according to the system requirements. With a small switch at the back, the peak speed can be changed in three steps. The fan therefore offers three various RPM ranges: Silent Mode / Performance Mode / Overclock Mode.

Optimized Air Stream Conduction
Unmatched thermal resistance of 0,085°C/W (ETS-T40-TB: 0,09°C/W) due to optimized air stream conduction: Stack Effect Flow (SEF, patented), Vortex Generator Flow (VGF, patented) und Vacuum Effect Flow (VEF).

Heat Pipe Direct Touch (patented)
The heat pipes directly rest on the CPU, so that the CPU heat can be dissipated effectively without additional resistance.

Universal bracket for Intel® and AMD®
User-friendly CPU cooler mounting supports all Intel and AMD CPU: Intel® 775/1150/1151/1155/1156/1366/2011 and AMD® AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2.
Features Twister Bearing
Smooth running and persistent silent 12cm PWM fan with patented Twister Bearing Technology (min. 100,000 hours MTBF).

Click Mechanism
Fan with detachable blades for easy cleaning from dust.

Expandable Cooling System
Second fan bracket included in the delivery for cooling system upgrade with one additional 12cm fan.

Effective Vibration Reduction
Adhesive rubber strips to reduce vibrations of the installed fan.

High Conductive Thermal Grease
Tube with Dow-Corning® thermal grease (TC-5121) for best thermal conduction between CPU and heat sink.

Chassis Airflow
Date Issued: 20th Oct 2008

The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

System Noise Reduction
Date Issued: 5th Mar 2007

Anybody who has been near their share of computer systems will appreciate that not all systems make the same amount of noise. There are a number of reasons for why this is so. Firstly, a computer makes noise for different reasons. Generally, anything mechanical is going to make noise.
