Product Overview

EK-Quantum Torque Micro Rotary 90°

EK-Quantum Torque Micro Rotary adapter fittings allow you to make a simple 90° turn in the smallest possible footprint and installation height. With an overall installed height of just 21mm, Torque Micro Rotaries can squeeze into the most difficult places where it would be otherwise impossible to make a bend. This means it is 10mm lower in height than the standard 90° EK-Quantum Torque Rotary angled fitting.

This Quantum Line adapter fitting is CNC-machined from a solid brass bar and protected with a high-quality satin Silver finish. The two parts of the fitting are permanently assembled and sealed with high-quality rubber O-rings. Satin Titanium EK-Quantum Torque series fittings are intentionally not painted on the inside to reduce the level of possible pollutants in the loop. This precision manufacturing ensures satisfying engagement and a consistent appearance.
Since there is no space for conventional knurling, the base of the fitting extends through an opening in the top face where a 6mm Allen key has to be used to secure it in place. Once secured, the body of the fitting is free to rotate in either direction. EK recommends the use of the EK-Loop Multi Allen Key for this application.

A male G1/4" thread is screwed into the desired port, and a fully rotatable joint allows the female G1/4" port to be directed in any perpendicular direction. You can install components in very close proximity thanks to this.

Watercooling
Watercooling
Date Issued: 19th Jun 2008

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.
