Product Overview EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 is a high performance full-cover water block for GIGABYTE non-reference design NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti G1 series graphics cards.

This water block directly cools the GPU, RAM as well as VRM (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under high overclocks.

EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 water block features a central inlet split-flow cooling engine design for best possible cooling performance, which also works flawlessly with reversed water flow without adversely affecting the cooling performance. Moreover, such design offers great hydraulic perfromance allowing this product to be used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

Base is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality acrylic glass. The sealing is ensured by quality rubber washers. Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure. Block is mounted with enclosed M3x4 DIN7985 screws and washers.

EKWB recommends the purchase of aesthetic retention backplate (EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 Backplate - Black or Nickel) which improves the looks of your graphics cards and also provide some passive cooling to the memory IC on the backside of the circuit board.

G1/4" threaded fittings can be used on both sides of the FC terminal. Up to four EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 water blocks can be used on a single ATX form factor motherboard by using EK-FC Terminal (DUAL, TRIPLE or QUAD type) system or other means of interconnectivity.

Please note that EK-FC Bridge & Link system is not compatible with this water block. Features • Designed for GIGABYTE non-reference GeForce GTX 980 Ti G1 Series Graphics Cards.

EK-FC980 GTX Ti WF3 Waterblock, Acrylic Glass+Nickel, for Gigabyte Non-Reference G1 Series WindForce GTX 980Ti GPU is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive but worth every penny I have used various different models of Gigabyte WF3 cards over the years and never had any issues with these; performance/temp has always been really good. So decided to go GTX 980Ti same WF3 design (factory OC only) . After installation was really struggling to keep this card temperature under control while gaming. Added additional fans / airflow and still temps too high for my liking, card sound like jet engine taking off 70% rpm, card running such high temperatures caused issues MB temperatures, PCH etc. Decided to bite the “bullet” and spend money on this block and install water cooling, I am sooooo happy that decided to take this route, this block rocks. Here are some examples of my tests. WF3 standard cooling (using MSI afterburner “aggressive” fan profile) Furmark 32-80 C Heaven benchmark 32-76 C Metro Last light 32-78 C 3D mark 32-77 C After installing this water block ( 280mm radiator 2 x 140mm fans set to 600 rpm ) Furmark 24-50 C Heaven benchmark 24-45 C Metro Last light 24-47 C 3D mark 24-45 C Temps recorded using MSI afterburner As bonus my MB, PCH , CPU temps dropped quite bit as well . PC is so much quieter as could remove 3 extra fans that I added to try run this cool. Note: I am “noob” when it comes to custom water-cooling (used closed setups before) so needed some help with my order and Scan support people are SO good , efficient and helpful . They helped me out to order correct items to get this custom setup done. As a last note , installation straight forward when you follow the docs included. Thank u SOOOOO much
