EIZO ColorEdge CS2411 24in Monitor

For the creative in everyoneThe CS2410 is the perfect monitor for newcomers to the industry, including photographers, videographers or graphic designers working exclusively in the sRGB gamut. The painstaking factory calibration means that the monitor can be used straightaway to edit colour-accurate photos or videos or create graphics.

WUXGA Resolution

EIZO ColorEdge CS2411 24in Monitor

Excellent image quality for sharp imagesThe screen convinced with a resolution of 1920 x 1200, an impressive contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness of 300 cd/m2. So you are able to edit graphics and images pixel accuracy. And: the textures are clear and pricsely. The LCD panel with IPS technology enables a viewing angle of 178 degrees, ensuring that hues and contrast remain stable for the viewer.

Digital Uniformity Equalizer

Constant tone value over the entire screenDigital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) controls all tone values over the entire monitor, pixel by pixel. The effect: colour tones appear identical at each point on the screen, without the brightness fluctuations you experience in conventional LCDs. You will enjoy consistently even luminance distribution and perfect colour purity. A real plus when touching-up images.

16-bit Look-up-Table

EIZO ColorEdge CS2411 24in Monitor

High resolution look-up tableThanks to the 16-bit look-up-table, the CS2410 offers precise resolution of image signals. Colour nuances and image structure are not lost, particularly in the case of dark hues. This reliable and precise reproduction reduces calibration steps, saving valuable production time.

Flicker-Free Display

EIZO ColorEdge CS2411 24in Monitor

Flicker-free workingThe monitor is flicker-free at every brightness setting. The benefit: Your eyes do not get tired as quickly. You can work on the screen for an extended period.

Factory Colour Calibrated

Hardware calibration with EIZO ColorNavigatorPrecise image editing is only possible on monitors that are calibrated on a regular basis. The standard software calibration process is time-consuming and often results in reduced display quality. The CS2410 is calibrated using the ColorNavigator hardware calibration software, which can be downloaded for free.

Using ColorNavigator, you can carry out loss-free calibration quickly and in just a few steps. Advanced users can enter target values for white balance, brightness and hue curve (gamma/EOTF) as well as other calibration settings. The calibration is then carried out automatically based on the factory settings, making the calibration process unique in its speed and precision.

Exact colour reproduction – factory calibrationWith LCD panels, the image display can vary from module to module. That is why each ColorEdge monitor is precisely measured and calibrated in the factory. The gamma curves for the red, green and blue channels are tested according to strict parameters and corrected if necessary. This unique EIZO factory calibration enables the user to start using the monitor with the preset gamut right out of the box. In addition, the factory calibration allows the user to quickly recalibrate the monitor if needed using ColorNavigator.

Built in USB Hub

Choosing a monitor is not an easy decision to make, and not just because of the large number of variations in resolution, refresh rates, sizes and connectivity options. There are also varying panel technologies used to form each display that need to be considered. These panel technologies can be grouped into three broad categories which cover the vast majority of monitors sold in the consumer market.

NVIDIA G-Sync
NVIDIA G-Sync
Date Issued: 17th Dec 2013

G-SYNC works in a surprisingly simple way - it calculates how long the present frame takes to compute and then, crucially, varies the refresh rate of the monitor to match. It works between a minimum of 33.3ms (30fps) and the maximum supported refresh of the display. The key takeaway here is that the graphics card and monitor are both synced up to one another - the monitor doesn't have the limitations imposed by a rigid, fixed-rate scanning routine.

There’s a lot more to High Definition than just having the ability to run your screen at the right resolution. With more than one type of connection available, and the thorny subject of signal encryption to contend with, just because your monitor and graphics are capable of 1,920 x 1,080 or better does not necessarily mean they will be able to display HDTV in all its glory.
