Dual Chamber Filament Drying

The Creality SpacePi X4 Filament Dryer features a dual-chamber system with independent temperature control, allowing two filament types to be dried at different temperatures within the same unit. Each chamber is equipped with its own PTC heater, supporting simultaneous multi-material drying workflows.

High-Temperature Engineering Filament Support

The unit uses dual 200W PTC heaters combined with insulated chambers to reach temperatures up to 85°C. This higher-temperature range is positioned for engineering-grade materials such as PA, PAHT, PC, and related high-performance filaments, with improved drying speed for materials like PA-CF, PAHT, and PPA.

360° Hot Air Circulation

A 360° hot air circulation system distributes heated air evenly throughout the chamber, ensuring consistent temperature coverage for uniform drying. The design supports continuous airflow conditions to maintain stable drying performance across all loaded spools.

Active Dehumidification and Sealed Storage

Active dehumidification is handled by dual dehumidifying fans that expel moisture during operation. The system also includes desiccant regeneration, where airflow connections automatically refresh the desiccant during use, removing the need for manual replacement. A one-way valve design helps maintain airtight conditions after drying to reduce moisture re-entry.

SpaceDry 4.0™ Drying System

The SpaceDry 4.0™ system combines heating, desiccant regeneration, and active dehumidification into a single drying and storage workflow. It is designed to reduce energy use while maintaining continuous drying performance across both chambers.

Multi-Spool Capacity and Compatibility

The dryer supports drying for up to 4 spools at once and enables drying and printing workflows simultaneously for multi-filament setups. It is compatible with 1kg and 2kg spools and supports standard filament diameters of 1.75mm and 2.85mm, with a maximum spool size of diameter =200mm and width =150mm.

Smart Controls and Silent Operation

A 3.2-inch touch UI provides control over drying modes, with support for automatic and manual operation. The system includes automatic silent behaviour, where fan speed reduces after reaching target temperature, and light and operation states adjust based on drying status.
