Amazing!originally was going to pay RRP for a brand new one as had been looking around other websites

came in a plain box but had everything included inside... only downside is i wish i had bought RGB for a little more choice in colours

Best keyboard I've ever used, but not perfect. It is always difficult to review a keyboard as each users preferences can be different. I had purchased this keyboard as I required a better keyboard for work, and use a K70 RGB at home on my PC.
My experience of the K70 has been overall positive, red switches although preferred for gaming are still very easy to use for typing heavy work.
Build quality is amazing, the keyboard feels solid, the a strong metal base and no creaks whilst in use.
My factory refurb did have some cosmetic issues present, the Corsair logo on the top of the keyboard was not sufficient affixed to the body and had begun to peel and there was a scratch or two on the metal base, but these were light and difficult to make out unless you are actively searching for them.
However, my keyboard did have a persistent fault which warranted it be returned. The keyboard inconsistently registered multiple key presses when a key was pressed once. This is a problem present within a very small number of the original K70, and is not isolated to the refurbished ones only.
I am surprised that the keyboard passed QA with that fault.
Excluding the fault with my refurb keyboard. My experience with my non-faulty non-refurb K70 has been amazing.

Refurbished but still brand newHi,
I purchased this keyboard about a month ago now, I upgraded from a Microsoft gaming keyboard with typical synapse keys. This mechanical keyboard from Corsair is fantastic, the key presses are so much nicer as well as the red lighting and additional USB port..
Although this was refurbished, you honestly wouldn't know if they put it into standard box!

Ok, so it's factory refurbished...It's a lovely product that feels the part. But a dodgy cable means it's unreliable and regularly just flakes out. Not happy.

Paid £45 less than retail. Worth itI was very wary to buy a refurbed keyboard, reading some bad reviews etc but after a little chat with one of the sales team over at SCAN my mind was put at rest. The 7 day DOA return was all I needed and I took the plunge...
Ordered at Lunch time on Friday arrived before 11am the following day on standard delivery.
Upon opening I could find zero marks on the keyboard and once plugged it it was aglow, every led and key works wonderfully and for the amount they knock of the retail price you can not go wrong.
This board is worth every penny at the retail price, but for £75 it is cheaper than the Razer Blackwidow and CMstorm TK Ultimate, there is no reason why you should choose one of them over this much better made and better loooking keyboard.

Randomly loses connection for no apparent reasonPros:
The keyboard its self is well machined and what i'd consider to be a great keyboard. The mechanical switches are high quality the braided cable is of an excellent standard and the easy removal of keys is unparralled.
When i can get it to stay connected/turned on .
Randomly disconnected currently in transit back to Scan.
This has been factory refurbished which means it should be "mechanically" working however it doesn't has been tested on multiple machines.
What is the likelihood of damage and how does the warranty and return policy influence this?
Is this a reliable purchase, basically. I obviously don't want a faulty or damaged keyboard. There are numerous reviews claiming that their product was unreliable or faulty, and I want to be sure I'm getting a good deal.
Asked by: Tash
In terms of reliability they are previously faulty/damaged items that have been restored to full working condition. The warranty terms are much shorter than a retail version.
