The Centrepiece of Your Custom Cooling System
The CORSAIR Hydro X Series XC7 RGB CPU Water Block combines premium construction, vivid RGB lighting and extreme cooling performance. A precision machined nickel-plated copper cold plate and more 60 high-efficiency micro-cooling fins draw the maximum amount of heat from your CPU, dropping temperatures and letting you push your clock speeds to their maximum. A transparent flow chamber shows off your coolant, lit by 16 individually addressable RGB LEDs for 360° of customizable RGB lighting. Control lighting with a CORSAIR iCUE Controller (sold separately) and CORSAIR iCUE software for near-limitless customization, or use the included ARGB adapter cable for motherboard control. With pre-applied thermal material for easy installation, the XC7 RGB is ready to become the centrepiece of your custom cooling system.
Uncompromising CPU Cooling: The XC7’s nickel-plated copper cold plate and more than 60 high-efficiency micro-cooling fins efficiently draw heat away from your CPU, lowering operating temperatures and enabling maximum clock speeds.
Vivid Integrated RGB Lighting: 16 individually addressable RGB LEDs deliver 360° of stunning customisable RGB lighting effects. Add a CORSAIRS iCUE Controller (Sold Separately) and powerful CORSAIR iCUE software to customise and sync RGB lighting across all your iCUE-compatible products including water blocks, fans, keyboard and more.
See Your Cooling: A transparent flow chamber shows off your coolant and enhances RGB effects.
5V ARGB Motherboard Adapter Cable Included: Alternatively control lighting through compatible motherboards.

Watercooling for the PC has been around for years in some form or another, for at least as long as Scan have been in business, with basic physics defining why you want to use it. That means for air cooling, to cope with increasing temperature in the heatsink you need to move the air across it faster. That is why thermostatically controlled fans in your PC will turn faster the hotter something gets.
