Rated 4 out of 5 by littlebluestars Corsair Liquid Cooler, competent
Just installed recently, however, a vast improvement on my air cooling set up, which I always found was worryingly heavy and took up a lot of the space in my case.
Typical air cooling temperatures at stock 3.5 ghz on an AMD 6300 Hexcore cpu were around 40- 55 degrees under mild load, rising to 55 degrees when playing average games.
Fitted with the H57, I saw a temperature drop to 38 degrees under mild load and 45 degrees when gaming (using games with and average demand on the cpu as before.
Just rebuilt with an i5 cpu, running at stock 3.2ghz and the temperatures under mild load (general activities) stay around the 39 degree mark.
I didn't buy this in the anticipation of much thermal advantage over an air cooler, but rather to give more space in the build and to intall another fan, which the air cooling heatsink would not permit. So far, happy with this, it runs fairly quiet and comparable to the air cooling set up, even with this possessing two fans.

The case fans in my computer aren't working right now but I have yet to see the core temperature go above 50 degrees because of this thing, even when gaming - so quiet too.
