The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Cooler Master Elite 110 mini-ITX Case, Supports ATX PSU is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great case ! This case can take a full size ATX PSU and twin fan graphics card for performance. I fitted a 650 Watt PSU and a GTX550Ti card to make a great little machine for streaming video to my 40 inch TV.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price Generally this is a perfectly good case. It is compact and looks good. A couple of minor things which caught me out: - The HDD locations are side-by-side rather than one above the other. The cables from my power supply wouldn't reach between the drives and I had to buy an extension. - The case comes with a fan, but it doesn't have PWM control. I bought a new fan to keep the system quiet. - Generally I felt the cable management wasn't great - it could have done with a few more points to tie cables to. Those problems are all easily solved, and having done so, I'm pleased with the case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but weak Good case but it's very easy to bend and break parts by accident. Managed to snap one of the plastic connecting bits for the front panel during assembly. You can JUST fit a dual fan video card in with some bending of the back panel in order to fit it in. Front fan is also good and plenty of spots for harddrives etc. Just wish it wasn't so flimsy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As small as possible with minimal compromise I chose this case because it was the smallest case I could find that would fit a normal PSU and a powerful graphics card. For that purpose it really does its job well. The case has been made as tiny as I could imagine while still being able to fit all the components needed. I have a Gigabyte GTX960 181mm long, a 160mm PSU and a 140mm fan in this thing and it all fits fine; although the cable management was a slight challenge. However, there are a few things that bother me about this case. My biggest issue is that next to the PCI-E slots the metal is bent around, probably to avoid sharp edges, but this means the HDMI and DisplayPort sockets on my graphics card are almost useless. Secondly the case is just barely too thin to be able to both fit my graphics card and 80mm fans, but I guess you wouldn't really need both at the same time anyways. Thirdly, They could have added more cable-tie mounting points on the inside of the case. There are som on the bottom, but I would like to see some on the sides as well. I ended up having to use the cable-tie mounting point on the inside of the front cover to fasten all my cables. It works fine, but was really difficult to do. To conclude: I am really happy with this case now that I have everything working, but it has some points that can be improved. The few irritations were still worth being able to have a fairly powerful computer in such a small case.
