The modern PC is potentially a mass of heat output and heat production hot spots. With CPUs rated at more than 100W of heat output, single graphics boards carrying similar ratings (and people want to run two!), multiple hard drives the norm, lots of memory and mainboards covered in heatpipes to combat toasty core logic and PWM circuits, a PC appreciably warming up a room when it’s working hard is no joke.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good case I bought this case to move my parts from an old case to this one and I am not disappointed. This case is; roomy well made and good looking. Instillation was mostly painless and all my parts fit in well (I have a GTX 750 ti and the last case i used couldn't fit the lid on as my GPU blocked it, no such problems here as the case is more than wide enough). The front fan is bright enough but not blinding and makes the case looks nice. I would definitely recommend this case as for £23 it works very well and is amazing value. 30 August 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good, but make sure you get additional fans The case is fairly roomy for its size and price. It was easy enough to install the parts and it looks effective. The only issue I have with it is that I did not buy additional case fans at the time of purchase. After building the computer and leaving it to stress test for half an hour or so, I noticed the case was getting very warm to the touch. After setting it up for games, after a few more hours, it became very hot to the touch on the top and side closest to the CPU. Removing the side panel allowed for better cooling, so the case does not appear suitable, especially when only using a stock cooler. That said, an additional purchase of the two 120mm 'should' rectify this and so, as long as the case is bought with at least one additional fan, I would recommend it. (Just to note however, even when the case was very hot, the CPU was still running stable at 51C, so wasn't likely to cause any damage). 21 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by good looking case for the money bought this to transfer all the parts from an old case which was looking tatty, looks good inside, lights up well with just the front fan, and not too bright at all. other fans would make it look even better, so don't forget to buy some. just sold this on rebuilt and made a nice profit, a new case can make all the difference. looks really good and can recommend it 07 July 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by nice cheap but good quality case bought for a new PC build, very happy with the quality and look of it, personaly i think it looks better than most £50 cases. only negatives are that it did not come with a full set of stand offs as one was missing for an ATX board but that doesnt really matter and also the front bays are rather hard to remove to put in an optical drive, i bent mine nearly in half trying to take it out but that also isnt a big deal as it doesnt need to go back in as there is a dvd drive in its place now. overall a good buy. would recommend 02 July 2014
